Really Creative Fireplaces Designs by Anne Colombo

Since I have this blog, I’ve discovered a lot of cool designs, and today I would like to present a few fireplaces designed by Anne Colombo’s that really impressed me. Being one of the five natural elements, a fireplace is a great way to give a warm and peaceful feeling to any room. Anne Colombo the designer of these beautiful fireplaces is trained as a classical sculptor, but she also specializes in water features, wind sculptures, garden and landscape designing! Della Robbia BonBon is such a cute ottoman. With those fun colors and the plushy material looks like a plushy toy, and I’m sure that every child would love a BonBon ottoman in his room.

Somewhat similar in concept to tear-away desktop calendars, daily interaction is necessary to keep the date on track; great for those who need a little “time awareness” though not so great if you start to lag behind. Architectural Photos: Mykonos Island Hotel in Greece

I do not know about you, but I sure could use a vacation about now. I am thinking something summery with great views, the ocean, and peace and quiet. How about the beauty of the Greek Islands? Pictured here are photos of Cavo Tagoo, a luxury hotel on Mykonos. I am a big fan of Mediterranean style architecture with white washed walls against the backdrop of the ocean. The stairs down from the hotel property create a grand entrance to the waterfront. The inside décor features modern furniture that matches the white theme of the walls. U Bend Shelf is a great example of an extremely simple design. A single bar that extends from the wall which will support your books in a discrete and stable way, the first of them being used to fix the others. The shelf is available in two high gloss powder coated finishes, black or white, and the price for this shelf is $95. I think that this is a great way to store some books in a small room.
