But it’s not the power efficient LEDs that will stretch the life of the 4AA battery power supply that has us impressed. It’s the lawsuit-avoiding tech of unlicensed merchandise. Clearly reminiscent of the mushrooms floating around in Nintendo’s famous Mario Bros. This lamp is available at $12 from here. - Via Remembered the sad history of Titanic ? The house adapts to its natural setting, following the inclination to the hillside. Still being in one of the most virgin zones of the Brave Coast, the Rosamar urbanization characterizes by a mixture of tipologías of constructions and autoconstrucciones of low architectonic interest and high landscaping impact. In response, the project has the possibility to carry out the minimum possible ecological track in a parcel with strong slope and thick Mediterranean vegetation. Surroundings that we modified at minimum, as much by the inclined positioning of the house and its consequent reduction of the earthwork, generated laying of foundations and remainders, the maintenance of the vegetation not losing the shaded and fresh existing atmosphere, and finally, by the sensible design of the outer elements - wood stairs following the natural slope and minimum perimeter fence. - Via - Technohaus & Coolboom - Thanks our loyal reader Razvan for helping me with this article.toikka birdstags: miscellaneaTHE BIRD FIGURINES MARKET may not interest most of our readers, but Oiva Toikka’s birds are much sleeker than anything you’ll find at your local giftshop. Taking advantage of the naturally reflective properties of glass, Oiva’s pieces are elegantly designed, handmade and feature distinctive color variations. Toikka hails from Nuutajarvi, a village with at least 200 years of glassmaking history; he has made at least one bird a year since 1973, and personally signs each one. The K-Chair Mini is a scaled-down version of the flagship mid-mod armchair. It’s made of walnut-stained, sustainably harvested, rubberwood and black vinyl. There aren’t any kid-sized side tables, though, so this would sit cutely, if a little forlornly, by itself. In conclusion if you want a piece of stylish and modern piece of furniture for your kid this might be a gret choice although I don’t think that a beautiful piece of furniture like this will resit to much in a Kids Room. The Karimoku60 K-Chair Mini can be yours for 25,000 yen.Beautiful Wave SculpturesI think that these Wave Sculptures are quite impressing. They are made by Paul DeSomma and his wife, Marsha Blaker also internationally known for her glass and ceramic art, have a studio in Live Oak, CA. where they create both individually and collaboratively. Very realistic, this little small wave has a lot of details that make him so beautiful. At first glance this elegant low profile bed is different with it's two low cushioned benches for sitting, lounging or displaying objects which is perfect to be positioned in the middle of the room if space allows. The quilted covering is completely removable for cleaning and a matching bedspread is included with the bed system that is available in 36 colors of softly napped synthetic suede. The "Riddled Front Cupboard" from Horm of Italy caught my attention this morning. First off the visual appeal is amazing on this piece as I am drawn into the wood work of the modern cupboard. To create a surface in the walnut veneer as Horn has done, they used laser technology to cut into the wood to create the riddled surface. Some of the pictures show light coming from inside the cupboard which appears strange, but is due to the fact that there are lights inside which create a unique illuminated appeal. This piece only comes in walnut veneer, but is available in a white or black matt lacquered surface. I have included a pictured of their non-riddled version as a point of comparison. So, tell me which one you like, the riddled or non-riddled version. Measurements: 50 cm x 192 cm x 66. Product link: here.
