Furniture Ideas: Contemporary Seating Stools
As I was browsing for new furniture ideas, I came across a site that had a wide variety of contemporary seating stools. Usually, I find an example here and example there, but not several different sizes and models all in one site. Stools are great additions for any home as there seems to always be a need to offer seating in several places in the home. Another advantage is the portability of small furniture since it gives you flexibility in home decorating. These examples all came from the website for Bcrea Furniture.
The first two pictures feature the Solo and Solo Plus. The main difference in the "Plus" is its thicker cushion. The third photo is the Blox which features a "decorative cube" look that is common on the market today. The fourth image is that of the Tubo, a tall cylinder shaped leather stool. You can see that this stool is the perfect height for a counter or kitchen island. Lastly is the Salto featuring a unique shaped seating design making it a cool poolside piece of outdoor furniture. This Weekend Freshome Was One Step Away from Death
Yes this is true “This Weekend Freshome Was One Step Away from Death” …let me explain.
Saturday morning I just woke up and went online to check my email, the news and the website ( Freshome ), and I was left without words when I saw that on my domain is not there,it was replaced by a spammy page with paid listings. I was shocked. I tried to contact my hosting company via email, and telephone but they didn’t responded to me. The desperation was bigger and bigger. I’ve called a few of my friends and I’ve found that my domain expired and the hosting company didn’t told me nothing to renew it. Meanwhile another company who buys and sells domains wanted to get my domain. After a few hours of insisting I’ve managed to get my domain back, and the blog back up. Now I’ve paid for the domain 3 years in advance so in future I hope I’ll not experience problems like this.

Bait Floor Lamp by Frandsen Projekt
The Frandsen Projekt is the go to company for so many well known high profile corporate companies when it comes to super sleek lighting. They also do some of the coolest residential hanging lights and lamps made from a wide variety of materials. The Bait Lamp designed by Henrik Pedersen is the Frandsen Projekt's latest release unveiled at the ICFF. This simple floor lamp has a carbon fiber rod, with a movable brushed steel weight that acts as a counter balance that can be slid along the lamp to adjust the height of the lighting. At the same time the carbon fiber rod will naturally adjust its curve like a fishing rod which is the inspiration for the Bait Lamp.

Japanese electronics giant Panasonic just released a heated rug that have a special radiant mat that sits beneath the surface of the carpet to keep things nice and warm and when I say warm I mean upto 46°C and if that is way too hot for you you can always adjust it. Be careful if you have a dog or a cat, because your pet will love this carpet. Mobile Mini-Home - Woonbox
There are portable toilets and portable cabins. Now there is the portable kitchen and bathroom called the Woonbox. The Woonbox is a compact wonder. It is a large box which when opened up somewhat like a book will reveal a shower and toilet on one side and a kitchen complete with two cooking rings and sink on the other.
