Crono White Bathroom Fixtures from Olympia
One of the amazing things in bathroom design is the number of situations where a classic set of fixtures can work. There are other areas where a bathroom can be spruced up through the use of colors and accents. Pictured here is the "Crono" line from Olympia. Crono features a white ceramic appeal with stainless steel hardware. All of the fixtures are "right sized" so as to not create an over-balance in a bathroom. The Cabbage Chair
Personally I don’t consider this a design, for me this is just something considered a design and made by someone who was very bored. The cabbage chair is created by peeling away the layers of a roll of pleated paper one layer at a time. The designer Nendo made this chair for the XXIst Century Man exhibition curated by Issey Miyake, where he asked them to make furniture out of the pleated paper that is produced in mass amounts during the process of making pleated fabric, and usually abandoned as an unwanted by-product. Nendo’s solution to his challenge transformed a roll of pleated paper into a small chair that appears naturally as you peel away its outside layers, one layer at a time.
Just Finished a Blog Redesign
Well it's very late and I have just finished a blog re design. I wanted to add some pictures to give it more of a design and decorating feel. Additionally, there is now a navigation bar to help readers get to important pages more easily. I added easy "subscribe to" buttons to many of the common RSS readers. This should make subscribing to the blog much, more easy.
There is also now a "fave this blog" button for Technorati. If you like my blog, I encourage you to add it to your favorites at Technorati.
I do have some exciting news. Will and I will soon be adding a store to our blog. Our first step will be an Ebay store. Later, we will add a secure shopping cart service to this blog as well. We will let you know as soon as the store is up and running.
We plan to continue to provide new stories for our readers. Though we will have our own store, we remain committed to enhancing the overall furniture fashion and design experience. There are so many great ideas and products out there, that no one company can offer them all. It is our plan to cover a wide range of products, Beverly Hills: Trend / Leather Sofa Setss and decorating ideas as we always have.
Pulse Bookshelf
I don’t know why but after I’ve published the 30 of the Most Creative Book shelves Designs it seems that everyday I find more and more creative book shelves ideas. For example here is a very interesting bookshelf design named Plusline and was designed by Måns Salomonsen. Personally I like the design, but I would like a bigger one, to be able to store more books, not just a few magazines, and a few little objects.

Tokyo Residence by Yasuhiro Yamashita
Sometimes I find interesting things on the internet and I want to post here on Freshome, but I hesitate, just to find them later on another website and then I don’t know why but I want to post them. I’ve found this collection of images of interesting houses in Tokyo at Flickr almost a week ago but as I’ve said before I wasn’t in the mood to post, but today I’ve found these pictures again on Orangebeautiful, and I really liked this Tokyo residence by architect Yasuhiro Yamashita. Is a great example of how you can use just a small piece of land to build an really interesting piece of architecture. "Span" Storage System for Books and Magazines
Alexander Munk from Germany has created this interesting storage system for books and magazines. This design is called "Span". Interestingly enough, Span expands as more books are added to the storage system. This clever design can control the amount of space used by the system by contracting to the width of the books. Via.
