Fusital Door Levers Designed by Antonio Citterio

Valli & Valli teamed up with designer, Antonio Citterio to craft a new collection of door levers combining leather and stainless steel. Antonio is famous for his designs with Italian furniture company, B&B Italia. The use of leather on a door lever is different from an aesthetic stand point and also from a use of functionality. In other words, the leather not only provides the looks, but also makes gripping the door easier. The leather is available in two colors to include black and orange. Via.

Small and Compact Tulo Occasional Chair from Dietiker

I like the fact that the Tulo chair from Dietiker is compact in its size. Often I find myself looking for Occasional chairs to fit a particular space only to find that a large majority of chairs are designed to encompass massive proportions of space. Tulo's small size opens up many possibilities for bedrooms, studies, or living rooms where you may need that extra seating. I find the shape of this chair along with other tub-like chairs to offer comfortable seating for my back with a nice place to rest my arms. Tulo was designed by Shin Azumi. Measurements: 61 cm x 59 cm x 79 cm. More information: here.

Bissell ProHeat Cleanshot Carpet Cleaning System

Having just had company over I realize that I could stand to clean my carpet. Invariably, children, wet weather, and foot traffic in general will put dirt into carpet and slowly change its color. The Bissell ProHeat Cleanshot is a vacuum cleaning system that is designed to tackle carpet cleaning. Now, I am just as skeptical as everyone since there are so many systems out there that all claim to work and are rather expensive. The key feature in this system is the heated water. Hot water greatly improves the ability to loosen up dirt while at the same time kills bacteria, mold, and mildew. The system works by heating the water up and then adding the cleaning solution. The mix is sprayed onto the carpet, gone over by brushes, and then picked back up by vacuum suction. I think a big question for any family is how much to spend on these types of products and whether or not to have carpet professionally cleaned every so often. If you prefer not to have any type of solution on the carpet, than you may want to consider investigating steam cleaners which use only steam as their cleaning agent. Price: $299. Product: here.

Door to the Management Complaint Department

I found this photo to be funny as it made me think about complaining to management. Just step right through the door and voice your complaint. This is a nice "open door policy" kind of image. We cover all sorts of doors at Furniture Fashion so why not this one? The source of this image was a gallery opening for artist Bedwyr Williams.

Interesting Flower Vanity from Duebi Italia

The Flower Vanity from Duebi Italia is a frivolous and light-hearted interpretation of the shape of a flower, this vanity will add an abstract air of modern design and vitality to your bathroom. Is strange on how nobody thought at something like this before. While I’m watching this design a lot of other designideas came into my mind. Finally if you want to add a piece of innovation into your bathroom then the Flower Vanity from Duebi Italia might be something you should take a look, because this design is something really cool. - Via - Beverly Hills: Trend / Leather Sofa Setsir

Luxury Residence in Klosterneuburg, Austria

The Austrian fellows from A1 Project, built this spacious terraced luxury residence in Klosterneuburg, close to Vienna, on a slope overlooking the whole valley. For some reason it reminds me of the Walker House in Sydney … The ground floor has 490 sqm and consists of several levels that changes the whole living space, for more functionality. There’s a fireplace, a lounge and a kitchen with a dining area and a breakfast terrace. All the surfaces are in wood and stone that give it a modern contemporary feeling. Above the ground floor there’s a cantilevered structure where the bedrooms are, while outside there’s a swimming pool. I’m impressed with what these guys came up with, considering the scenery where it’s located. - via besthousedesign

Swing with Style in a Suspended Bed

I don’t know why but it seems that each time I see a bed suspended on ropes I automatically fall in love, and I sure that I’m not the only one. A suspended bed makes a dramatic statement in the uncluttered space, as you can see in this picture that I’ve found here. Now some people might ask me for more pictures with suspended beds like this, but unfortunately I can provide you with only one picture that I’ve posted some time ago here.
