Wooden House in the Czech Republic
The Czech architects, from Sporadical, finished their wooden house project in Central Bohemia at a former arboretum, last year. It’s a three floors economical and spacious weekend house, surrounded by nature, that has an open residential ground floor, an enclosed bedroom floor, and a rooftop terrace.
The ground floor (the living are) is a great concept that was built as a central core, forming a single space that looks into the forest through large expanses of glass. The structure comes with movable walls which allows to separate the living area and the kitchen if you like, or turn the southern corridor section as a winter garden. The upper floor is the quiet part of the house, with the bedrooms and a large bath, plus a “secret” staircase that leads along the facade to the rooftop terrace, for a pleasant and relaxing time under the open sky.
Because it’s built on a wooden frame with thinner outside walls (reinforced OSB slabs), the construction time was shorter than usual. What I would like to know is how much the owners had to pay for that house, because it sure is a great escape from the busy towns we probably work in.

When I look at these chairs they seem to be from a fairy tale, a king elf throne, or something like this.In fact these chairs are real and everybody who want one can purchase one. These chairs are made by Rachel Miller and Tim Miller and can be bought for $2200 from here. They are good to make an astonishing impression, but I don’t think they are to comfortable.
Latest Seoul Major Tourist Attraction : Banpo Bridge
Just a twist of design, a splattering of paint, a cheeky addition to something old can make it look brightly cheerful and attractive to the eyes again. The Banpo Bridge which crosses over the Han River in the Seoul capital of Korea has been given new life with the addition of a very interesting fountain, that was specially designed to attract more tourists. Instead of remodeling this huge structure to fit it with the usual design of a fountain, even that has been give some change,with the fountain shooting water downwards instead of up.
The fountains at the Banpo Bridge were installed on September ninth and have since become a major tourist attr action. It has nearly 10 thousand nozzles ( more exactly 9, 380 ) on either side of the bridge that shoots out 190 tons of water every minute. According to the Seoul mayor, Oh Se-Hoon, the fountain bridge would help acknowl Beverly Hills: Edge / Leather Sofa Sets Seoul as an eco- friendly destination amassing more tourists. But unless the fountain is being used as a means of harnessing energy, the eco-friendliness of this fountain is skeptical.
