Freshome Moved To a New Server
For those of you who had problems this weekend accessing Freshome I want to announce that the website was moved to a new more powerful ( an expensive ) virtual dedicated server to avoid any problems in future. I’ve decided to move to a new server because in February, Freshome experienced a massive growth. I don’t think that you are interested to much about Freshome problems, so let’s get back to some fresh & inspiring content. - I wish you a wonderful day !
White, Clean and Elegant Interior Design Pictures
White is the most commonly used color in interior design, especially in areas where bathing, cleaning and food preparation are prevelant. This is due to the fact that you can see anything that appears on white and wipe it up, keeping the surfaces clean and germ free. White combines well with black to form a stunning high contrast look. With the popularity of minimalist homes, decorating is lending towards using neutrals again. Keeping the interiors crisp white and clean, with often the use of subtle textures in kitchen bench tops, carpet or timber floors. Today I’ve found a great example of using white in interior design, combined with a little black. The final result is an elegant design with clean lines. Shearling Swan Chair
The Swan Chair is designed by Arne Jacobsen and is and iconic lounge chair with a 4-star aluminum swivel base, satin-polished steel pedestal and black rubber toes. The interior of the shell is upholstered in curly lamb hair from New Zealand and the exterior is hand-sewn in a suede mocha from Edelman Leather. Embrace Lounge by Tanya Aguiniga’s
At a first glance the embrace lounge doesn’t look to impressive, is looking like something very simple, but the embrace lounge has a hidden, body-shaped curve in it, allowing you to feel the comfort of a warm embrace. This piece was inspired by the need for a hug while away from home. The embrace lounge was designed by Tanya Aguiniga’s, a Los Angeles base d furniture designer/maker raised in Tijuana, Mexico. Her work encourages users to reconsider the objects they use on a daily basis by creating work that explores an objects’ unseen aspect, such as half chairs that rely on the wall to function and whose image is only complete as its shadow is cast upon the wall. - Via - Notcot
Wooden House of the Future, in Australia
We at Freshome, love wooden houses. Less conventional and re creating a “warmer” atmosphere, this wooden house of the future, is located in Sydney, Australia, the modular pre fabricated house is the work of Xenian who built it in a workshop and transported later, on site. And more to it, the house seems to be eco- friendly. It features LED lighting, a rainwater collecting system that makes it drinkable, has a structure that enhances natural ventilation and some solar cells embedded in glass. I don't know about you but most of my time in the kitchen is involved in socializing and having fun times cooking and visiting friends.
