With Thanksgiving fast approaching in the United States, we’ll be focusing on dining-related decor for our next few posts. First up is the triple-use Chop Chop Cutting Tray. The bamboo planks can initially serve as cutting boards for food prep. Next, nestle them side by side inside a nickel-plated steel frame for an instant serving tray. Finally, present each board to hungry guests, who can use them as an eating surface.

His Dish Up is remarkably simple; ceramic plates with flat ends instantly help to divvy up food, and conveniently store vertically when not in use. Lastly we have Tom Dixon’s Eco Ware, composed of biodegradable thermoset plastic with bamboo fiber. These dinnerware sets are made from the byproducts of coconut, rice and bamboo. They can also be composted when no longer needed. Environmentally-conscious blog Treehugger makes an interesting observation regarding this type of tableware, which uses nylon as binder: polyamide (nylon) is not particularly compostable. It therefore remains to be seen whether these are 100% returnable to the earth–important because Eco Ware only lasts about five years with normal use.

Modern Bathroom Vanities from La Roccia Part 2
For part 2 of our series on the exceptionally stunning bathroom vanities by La Roccia we feature the Line O' and Line O' Round collection that has an equally dramatic look as the Nuda, but features a more substantial storage and rounded fronts on some models. The Line O' series also offers some really bold colors, wood stains, and much thinner stone tops that create a light and sophisticated look characteristic of a fine resort or a five star hotel. La Roccia creates my idea of dramatic Italian style with mostly wall mounted elements which accentuate the minimal and uncluttered design.

Walter Towers : The Power of the W
I remember visiting Prague four years ago and the thing I loved the most, was their building architecture. Everything lined up together, the life and the people where certain things for which I’d visit it again. But I guess I have a new reason this time. Not sure if that’s a skyscraper or some sorts of whyscraper, but I do know that the Walter Towers will soon be famous for their twirled and splayed looks. The giant undulating W.
Designed by Danish architects Bjarke Ingels Group’s, the Walter Towers look stunning even though I wouldn’t buy an apartment in such a building. Would the elevator be straight or a ride with it turns into a terrifying experience? Is such a building safe, most likely yes, but would you live in an upside down McDonald’s logo building? - via Dezeen
